In just 12 months, the firm secured 15 blockchain investments and has made more money than any other investor in the blockchain. Digital Currency Group invests exclusively in digital assets and blockchain.

Andreessen made its first blockchain investment in 2013 when hey made an angel investment in Ripple and early venture funding for Coinbase. In only seven years, the firm made several significant investments in dozens of blockchains like Chia Networks, Basis, and Harbor. While the company is not solely investing in blockchain, they recently announced a $300million fund focusing on cryptocurrencies.

Boost VC is an artificial intelligence, cryptocurrency, and blockchain accelerator from San Mateo, California. It first began its blockchain investment in 2014 when they made a seed funding in Ripio. In its six years in the market, the company made over 30 investments in blockchain and cryptocurrency. In the past year, they made 11 blockchain investments, making them one of the top venture capital companies investing in blockchain.

7. IDG Capital

In the first four months of 2018, the company made four blockchain investments – the most they made since 2014. 

10. Lightspeed Venture Partners
